BTC has Norcross Regional Liquid Tanker Driver Jobs for a regional tanker opportunity. Drivers can expect 12-14 days out with 2-3 days off, covering routes across the U.S. and Canada. This position requires a passport for Canadian deliveries.

Drivers will haul non-HM liquid products used in the color and manufacturing of shingles. Responsibilities include assisting with loading and offloading tanker trailers, which requires climbing, bending, and connecting hoses.

Salary and Benefits

Average Weekly Pay: $1,200–$1,800

  • Pay Per Mile (Loaded & Empty)
    • $0.60 – $0.65 CPM (based on verified tractor/trailer experience)
  • Per Diem Option:
    • Eligible to receive $0.14 per mile as non-taxable mileage pay
  • Load/Unload Pay:
    • $25 per load event
    • $25 per unload event
  • Utilization Incentive:
    • +$0.03 CPM (for 1,600+ miles per week)
    • Regional drivers typically run 2,200–2,500 miles per week

Job Requirements

  • Tanker Endorsement (Required)
  • TWIC (Prior to Onboarding/Onsite Training)
  • Passport (Prior to Onboarding/Onsite Training for Canada Runs)
  • Hazmat Endorsement (Helpful, but not required)
  • Minimum Experience:
    • 24 months of verified tractor/trailer experience in the last 3 years
    • Tanker experience preferred, but BTC provides training for qualified candidates (dry van, reefer, or flatbed experience accepted)

Training & Orientation

  • Virtual Orientation: $200 upon successful completion (usually paid on the first check)
  • Onsite Training:
    • $120/day for up to 2 weeks (varies based on experience)
    • Minimum of 7 days road training (required for all drivers)
    • Week 2 Road Training: $200/day
  • Cross-Training Available for dry bulk, metered trailers, and tanks
