Job Overview

BTC is seeking experienced Hannibal Pneumatic regional dry bulk drivers to join our team. Drivers enjoy home weekly schedules with potential 1-2 nights through the house during the week, depending on dispatch. Our primary lanes originate in Quincy, IL, serving the Midwest, including IL, IN, Western MI, and MO.

Drivers will handle dry bulk product loading and unloading, requiring the ability to climb a platform, step into a cage, and flip trailer lids at loading sites. At delivery, drivers will use the trailer hose and electric blower while monitoring the unloading process. Full training in handling and unloading dry bulk products is provided.

  • Position: Full-Time

  • Home Time: Weekly

Salary and Benefits

Average Weekly Pay: $1,200–$1,500

  • CPM Pay (Loaded & Empty)
    • Local: $0.50–$0.55 CPM (based on verified experience)
  • Load/Unload Pay
    • $16 per loading event
    • $22 per unloading event
  • Utilization Incentive: +$0.03 CPM (for 1,800+ miles per week)
  • Accessorial Pay:
    • Minimum $35 per load OR CPM (whichever is greater)
    • Equipment movement: $0.40 per routed mile

Job Requirements

  • Must meet BTC hiring qualifications
  • Ability to climb platforms and step into loading cages
  • Comfortable using trailer hoses and electric blowers for unloading
  • Willing to complete cross-training in other fleet operations (dry bulk, metered trailers, and tanks)

Training & Orientation

  • Virtual Orientation: $200 upon successful completion (usually paid on the first check)
  • Onsite Safety/Training (M-F): In Fenton, MO – BTC provides air/ground transportation and hotel accommodations ($120/day)
  • Road Training:
    • Duration: 5-7 days ($120/day)
    • Drivers must complete 8-10 successful product pump-offs
