BTC has St. Louis Regional Liquid Tanker Driver Jobs for a regional tanker opportunity. This position involves hauling hazardous materials (HM) and general chemicals, including acids, resins, and lubricants. Depending on domicile and dispatch, drivers can expect to be out 7-10 days with 2 days off or out 12-14 days for those farther from St. Louis.

This role requires a TWIC card before onboarding or onsite training. A passport is preferred for international routes.

    • Within 50 miles of St. Louis: Home weekly (depending on dispatch)

Salary and Benefits

Average Weekly Pay: $1,200–$1,800

  • Pay Per Mile (Loaded & Empty)
    • $0.62 – $0.67 CPM (based on verified tractor/trailer experience)
  • Per Diem Option:
    • Eligible to receive $0.14 per mile as non-taxable mileage pay
  • Load/Unload Pay:
    • $25 per load event
    • $25 per unload event
  • Utilization Incentive:
    • +$0.03 CPM (for 1,601+ miles per week)
    • Credited back to Mile 1 of the week
    • Regional drivers typically run 2,200–2,500 miles per week

Job Requirements

  • TWIC Card (Required before onboarding/on-site training)
  • Passport (Preferred but not required)
  • Minimum Experience:
    • 6 months of verified liquid tanker experience OR
    • 24 months of verified tractor/trailer experience (Dry Van, Reefer, or Flatbed) with extended training

Training & Orientation

  • Virtual Orientation: $200 upon successful completion (paid on first check)
  • Onsite Training:
    • 5 days onsite training in Fenton, MO (M-F)
    • $120/day
  • Road Training:
    • Week 1: $120/day (Experienced Liquid Drivers)
    • Week 2: $200/day (Non-Experienced Liquid Drivers)
    • All drivers must complete at least 7 days of road training regardless of experience
